What is Continuing Care?
As a Continuing Care Retirement Community, Freedom Village offers several levels of senior living on the same campus. If a person’s needs change over the years, he or she is able to stay within one community. At Freedom Village, we provide Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing.
Independent Living is for seniors who are able to care for themselves in their own apartment. Although they are still active and independent, services such as cooking and cleaning are provided. Nine floor plans ranging from 350 to 1300 square feet are available, and all include kitchens. Caregiver services are available in Independent Living for an additional fee.
Assisted Living is for seniors who may be experiencing difficulty living on their own and need assistance on a regular basis. This environment is ideal for seniors who need help with personal care needs. Assisted Living studio apartments are available either furnished or unfurnished and have a private bath. Three meals a day are provided.
Skilled Nursing is for seniors who require temporary care due to rehabilitation after an acute illness, surgery or hospital stay. Skilled Nursing is also for those who may need long-term assistance with personal care. Most rooms are semi-private, with a shower in each room. Private rooms are available. Three meals a day are provided.
